emily: is mother to b. (age 9) and l. (almost-6), and wife to d. she is a painter, a photographer, and observer of the details of life. emily enjoys little more than a day on the beach, the way the light falls in the forest, cooking with local ingredients, the smell of fresh baked bread.

molly: molly and her husband are raising three little girls in a fixer-upper farmhouse in maryland. molly loves to knit, write, get her hands dirty in clay, discover a good song, and feed her family's clutch of chickens wandering around the farm. she is inspired by the natural world, a great recipe, and sleepy babies.
